How to get here

The nearest airport is in El Calafate which is 285km from the Estancia. El Calafate has daily flights coming in form Buenos Aires, it's a 3 hour flight aproximately. You can rent a car in Calafate and drive to the estancia or we we have regular weekly transfers that come and go from Calafate to the estancia.

If you're driving from El Calafate: take ruta 11 in the direction of Rio Gallegos, after driving 32 km take ruta 40 (cuarenta) North, keep going until you reach a gas station on your left with a green roof which is 1 km before the small town of Tres Lagos, turn left there and say hello to Laura and Claudia at the gas station. Then continue to the Estancia on route 31 (treinta y uno), go on for 120 km which is a 2.5 hour drive. Go slowly because the "ripio" or little stones on the road can be slippery. After passing the sign for Estancia Lago Tar on your left, continue on main road, pass Cerro Cachaike which will be on your right, and after a short while you will see a Y, take the road to your left which is Ruta 33.  There is a sign that reads Estancia El Condor pointing you in the correct direction. The road gets smaller and you will have to pass and open tranqueras (gates) of  estancia "La Tercera", "El Castillo" and last  "La Maipú”, before reaching Estancia El Cóndor, located 6/7 kms after the last gates of "La Maipu". 

If you have a problem with your car or flat tire wait for someone to come by, someone always does. Ask them to send a message to us for us to come and get you. If you are near the estancias, they will help you as well.

Cómo llegar

La estancia está a 285 km de El Calafate y 274 km del aeropuerto (Son 120 km de ripio desde la estancia hasta Tres Lagos). Nos ocupamos del transporte desde y hasta el aeropuerto, no incluído en la tarifa.

Desde El Calafate: salir por la ruta 11 (dirección Río Gallegos). A aproximadamente 32 km tomar la ruta 40, hacia el norte, hasta la localidad de Tres Lagos. En el tramo desde El Calafate hasta Tres Lagos la ruta está pavimentada. Antes de entrar a ese pequeño poblado, a la izquierda se
encuentra una estación de servicio. Se recomienda cargar nafta ahí antes de seguir camino por la ruta de ripio (ruta provincial 31). Luego de dejar a la izquierda el Lago Tar y a la derecha el Cerro Cachaike, aparece una bifurcación, allí doblar a la izquierda por la ruta 33. El camino se estrecha y se deberán abrir/cerrar algunas tranqueras de las estancias "La Tercera", "El Castillo" y "La Maipú”, antes de llegar a la Estancia El Cóndor. Esta última, como referencia, se encuentra a unos 6/7 km luego de haber pasado por entre los corrales de la estancia La Maipú. Hay un puesto de gendarmería unos 3 kms antes de la estancia por si hay algún problema. Hay letreros que indican el camino en cada tramo.
